Relational Healing

 • Jerry Roames • Series: I've Witnessed It

(Psalm 77:13-14) What god is as great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. (Matthew 9:35) Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. (1 John 1:1-3) That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life… We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. (Genesis 11:27-28) This is the account of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot. While his father Terah was still alive, Haran died in Ur of the Chaldeans, in the land of his birth. (Genesis 11:31-32) Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Haran, they settled there. Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Haran. 1. ALLOW GOD TO HEAL MY HEART. (Matthew 6:14-15) For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-5) There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die… There is a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them. (Genesis 31:44-46) “Come now, let’s make a covenant, you and I, and let it serve as a witness between us.” So Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar. He said to his relatives, “Gather some stones.” So they took stones and piled them in a heap, and they ate there by the heap. 2. ASK GOD TO HEAL MY RELATIONSHIPS. • Pray For Them. (Matthew 5:43-44) “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” • Bless Them. (Luke 6:27-28) But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (Romans 12:14) Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. • Do Good To Them. (Romans 12:17-21) Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. 3. APPLY GOD'S PLAN FOR HEALING AND RESTORATION. • Know God  • Find Freedom • Discover Purpose  • Make a Difference
